Folksy Theatre present 'As You Like It'
We welcome Folksy Theatre Company for an evening outside performance of 'As you Like It' by William Shakespeare www.folksytheatre.co.uk
Rosalind, the daughter of a banished duke, falls in love with Orlando. When she is then banished from the court by her usurping uncle, Rosalind takes on the appearance of a boy, calling herself Ganymede. She, her cousin Celia and jester Touchstone, travel to the Forest of Arden, where her father and his friends live in exile. When she meets Orlando again in the forest, she devises an elaborate scheme to find out the verity of his supposed passion for her, and to further capture his heart, through the witty and mischievous façade of Ganymede.
This wonderful Shakespearian comedy about life, love, betrayal, faith and death is filled with Folksy's touch of live music, bold characters, audience interaction and plenty of laughs.

Performance starts at 7pm and lasts approx. 2 hours 15 mins, including an interval.
Prices:
£15 adult, £12 child, £48 family (2 adults, 2 children).
Under 2's free of charge
All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Other useful information:
This is an open-air performance held outside on the lower lawn. Please bring blankets and folding chairs and please note open air performances go on whatever the weather!
